The shirts of the Ed Hardy fashion brand are legendary. Christian Audigier founded Ed Hardy, named after the tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy, three years ago. Its success is unbelievable. The shirts were the first products Audigier designed for Ed Hardy. With the vintage tattoo-style shirts the success began. And the Ed Hardy Shirts are still the most successful product of Ed Hardy besides the Ed Hardy Shoes.
Since Germany’s next Topmodel, the equivalent to America’s Next Top Model in Germany, the Ed Hardy also is a big boom in Europe, because Heidi Klum, who’s the host of GnT visited an Ed Hardy store with some of her wannabe models. Audigier himself wasn’t well known in Europe until that, even so he’s originally from France.
